In September we’ll be hosting Proud2Be Sustainably Green, an event all about caring for our environment and saving money along the way! We’ll have information stalls, two wonderful workshops, creative activities with recycled materials, money-saving meal tips, and a clothes swap ♻️👚
Our Sustainably Green workshops:
🪴El from Coming Home will guide us to explore our relationships with plants, and introduce ways of bringing them into our homes as food, medicine and friends 🌿
🔥 @firebug_torbay will be offering introductory tasters to greenwood working. Learn how to use a shave horse and draw knife, and how to whittle safely; then have a go at making your own magic wand, crochet hooks, coat hooks, and whammy diddles 🪲

We are excited to be hosting our Picnic in the Park for LGBTQIA+ people (and allies) of all ages!
When: 11AM – 3PM, 25th May 2024
Where: Borough Park, Totnes
Accessibility: Car park next to the park, train station next to the park, toilets in the train station and leisure centre.
Changing Places accessible toilet at Rushbrook Centre nearby. (Radar Keys can be used if the centre is closed).
Who: LGBTQIA+ people & allies, all ages. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
What: Bring your own picnic, treasure hunt (win prizes), cake stall, beat the goalie, football, cornhole games, outdoor toys

Join us online for our LGBTQ+ Movement Medicine Workshop!
When: 7 – 8.30 PM, 28th July 2023
Where: Online (via Zoom)
Accessibility: There is no pressure to be on camera or talk at our groups – join in as much or as little as you like!
Admission: Free to attend
Who: For LGBTQ+ people, hosted by our lovely facilitator Brollie (they/them)
What: A workshop integrating movement practices including movement therapy, gestalt therapy, yoga and mindfulness, and flow arts for participants to find safety and creativity within our bodies, facing and overcoming difficulties this can bring whilst exploring alternative strategies useful for navigating challenges.
If attending please bring a song (approx 4 mins long) and a prop (an item that brings you comfort)!

Where: Exmouth Beach
Accessibility: Beach wheelchairs can be rented through Exmouth Council, and there is accessible parking and toilets at the beach.
Who: LGBTQ+ people as well as our allies (16+). Those under the age of 16 are welcome to attend if accompanied by a parent/carer/guardian.
What: Sandcastle competition, beach scramble, pebble painting and games. Bring your own picnic!
*Please note this event replaces the Social Saturday in May unless the weather is bad (If it is forecast to rain, the Social Saturday will take place at our Newton Abbot venue as usual)
Come join us at our free Krafting Kindness event! A day for LGBTQ+ people and our allies to gather, create, and spread kindness through our community!
