– Hosted Totnes Pride 2021 with a total of 10 events over 3 days including talks, workshops, and discussions about anti-racism, homelessness, mental health, gender, and self-compassion plus drumming, crafts, and a brand new Proud2Be living libraries event!
– Provided weekly emergency food parcels for 9 weeks to 5 households in Devon
– The team took part in anti-racism training facilitated by the fantastic JMB Consulting – a really important part of our work to become a truly anti-racist organisation

– Launched the first Proud2Be Families Group, a monthly peer support group for the family members of LGBTQ+ children and young people, to come together for mutual support

– Ran a successful Crowdfunder campaign, raising funds to take a group of LGBTQ+ young people to Trans Pride in Brighton

– Began working in partnership with 34 organisations as part of the LGBT Hate Crime Partnership. Led by LGBT Consortium and funded by the Equality and Human Rights Commission

– Proud2Be founders Max and Maya Price spoke at the first ever TEDXTotnes event. Their talk ‘How Shame Made Us Proud2Be’ was released and chosen by TedX to be promoted to their 3 million YouTube subscribers.
